True NOSH is looking for volunteers!
Are you studying to be a dietitian and looking to enhance your skill set?
Then you’re going to love this. 
True NOSH is a Diabetes-friendly, no sugar added, gluten-free, and mostly plant-based cooking and products company - created by a Registered Dietitian. 
We’re looking for reliable, energetic, creative, and motivated LFS students to be part of our True NOSH team for a 6-month internship.
Duration
September 16, 2020 - March 15, 2021
Eligibility:
Only 2nd year and above UBC LFS students will be considered. 
Availability Requirements:
We require a 4 hour per week minimum (with additional hours for special events as needed). Only apply if you can truly commit to 4 hours per week. 
Perks:
As a True NOSH volunteer, you’ll be compensated with a credit to your account to be used towards our company’s products.
Skills Required:
Must be reliable and think outside the box.
Writing, photography, videography (shooting + editing).
Familiarity with Mailchimp, social media (FB, IG, YT) , Google Drive (docs + spreadsheets), and Skillshare a plus.
Valid driver's license a big plus.

Retail Store/Farmer's Markets:
You love interacting with people! Our new storefront will be mostly plant-based and gluten-free meals with no sugar added/Diabetes-friendly products for sale. You'll be present at farmer's markets, tradeshows, and events where you'll interact with new and returning customers, introduce/explain our merchandise, and why we create a line of Diabetes-friendly products.
Social Media/Videographers:
You love social media and being a content creator! You'll work on social strategy, execute the strategy, as well as brainstorm ideas on increasing followers/engagement. You have an artistic eye and know how to write a caption that lures people in. You'll write our newsletter, and photograph/create cooking videos that will be uploaded to our Skillshare account + all our social accounts.
Food Production/Kitchen:
You love food and learning all about what it takes to create our tasty products! You'll work with our product development coordinator in our commercial kitchen to produce our food products and beverages. You have a passion for food sciences and love giving feedback on increasing production efficiency and help with ingredient sourcing as well as choosing vendors.
