Trauma Sensitive Yoga with Monique
Drawing from almost four decades of meditation and eighteen years as an ordained Third Order monastic, Monique seeks to create a space where you can disconnect from distraction and reconnect to your inner wisdom.
Her teachings draw from traditional contemplative practices and the more meditative styles of movement such as yin, restorative, and dru yoga, as well as Hannah Somatics and the Feldenkrais Method with a generous smattering of neurogenesis and post-traumatic-growth theory. She is fond of a slow and steady practice with a rhythmic pace where we can pay attention while using longer holds to build stamina.
All of her teachings are trauma-sensitive and her classes, workshops, and retreats are both a respite and an opportunity to fully inhabit your being with self-compassion.
Yin with Nicole LeClair
Nicole integrates her creative background in dance and theatre, and studies in Kinesiology to offer an inspiring, accessible and nurturing practice.

Nicole encourages honouring and developing the awareness to your own unique body's needs. Currently living with chronic pain, her teachings inspire a deeper focus on healing the body and mind.

"Through my own life experiences I've realized that in order to lift your spirits, bring happiness into your lives, and to truly shine, you must be in your bodies and less in your minds. My Kundalini practice has brought me here, and now I want to share it with the world."
Katie came to yoga as a means of building deeper and more resonant relationships with herself and the world around her. Through consistent practice she discovered that yoga is a way to continually return home to herself and choose love, again and again. After experiencing how positively her practice impacted her daily life, Katie decided to pursue the path of teaching as a way to share the profound teachings of yoga with others and facilitate space for practitioners on their own individual paths of connection and discovery.
Katie's relationship with yoga inspires a deep and resounding YES to life and an ongoing exploration of the interconnectedness of it all. Yoga is a way to facilitate lasting and sincere connection. To Katie, connection - with ourselves, each other, and our world - is truly the heart of it all.
Katie teaches hatha/vinyasa yoga with an emphasis on alignment, exploration, reverence, and wholehearted connection. She is passionate about holding space for students to develop sustainable practices, with a strong focus on self-love and resiliency.
