Classes are offered on a by-donation basis with a suggested $10.

  Renee's  classes are usually a series of yoga poses linked with music. The element of song is added to enrich your savasana. She provides a warm environment, allowing your body to express your movements fully. All levels of experience with yoga are welcome to join her medium-paced classes.

Yin/Restorative with Nicole

Nicole integrates her creative background in dance and theatre, and studies in Kinesiology to offer an inspiring, accessible and nurturing practice. 

Her offerings integrate elements from her trainings in Hatha, Yin, Restorative and Deep Meditation. She focuses on meditation and breath as a tool to release the body’s habitual reaction to stress. Nicole encourages honouring and developing the awareness to your own unique body's needs. Currently living with chronic pain, her teachings inspire a deeper focus on healing the body and mind.

Yoga is coming home. Returning home to myself through the practice of yoga fills me up and allows me to better serve those around me. When I started practicing in 2009, I was inspired by the rhythm and repetition of movement paired with breath. The subtle messages given in class that related to my everyday life helped guide me to where I am today. My intention as a yoga teacher is to facilitate mindful movement and mobility. I offer an accessible yet engaging breath focused practice that aims to teach students to listen to their own bodies and gain confidence in exploration along the way. I have the teaching community at Semperviva to thank for my hours of teacher training in Hatha Yoga, Yoga Nidra and hands on assists and I’m so excited to share what I have learned. 

  Alyssa’s  journey into yoga was natural having been a dancer and competitive swimmer for many years. Although the practice was challenging at first (particularly in calming the mind) the discipline, strength, and devotion she once cultivated on the stage and in the pool were easily transferred to the mat. In fact, yoga seemed to be a more creative, free, accessible and accepting practice. Alyssa discovered the transformative and healing power of yoga and became hooked.  As a Caribbean girl with a love for music, her classes are playful, light-hearted and fun; all while maintaining that sense of challenge and strength to get your sweat on. She loves being able to share her experience of yoga with others and hopes that her students leave class feeling lighter than when they first walked in.

She encourages you to push beyond your limits, be yourself, set inspiring intentions, and to let go. "You’ll be amazed by what you discover - getting lost will only help you find yourself"  Rose is a certified Yoga Nidra + Meditation teacher, a practitioner of Reiki + Thai Massage, and an IIN wellness coach.  "Through my own life experiences I've realized that in order to lift your spirits, bring happiness into your lives, and to truly shine, you must be in your bodies and less in your minds. My Kundalini practice has brought me here, and now I want to share it with the world."

Hatha After work With Dana Bryan

Yoga has been a vital part of Dana's life for the past 5 years. It has enabled her to grow stronger, becoming more flexible and fearless both on and off the mat.

Dana completed her 200hr YTT with the Solstice Yoga Centre in San Augustinillo, Mexico. In her classes, she combines gentle Hatha sequencing with a spirit of playfulness and a dose of inspiration to help others deepen their practice.

Dana want to help others in a way that allows them to gain more insight into nurturing mind, body and soul with every practice she teaches. With the end result being of feeling refreshed, nourished and balanced when you step off of your mat.

Hatha with Chandni Karmacharya

Chandni comes home when she practices and tunes in to the various aspects of yoga. She initially started yoga to complement other workouts but yoga gradually became more than just a physical practice with postures. Yoga has become a vehicle to connect with herself and her surroundings for a more grounding and fulfilling life. 

Chandni completed her 200 hours yoga training in hatha yoga at Semperviva and has had other trainings which include yoga nidra, prenatal yoga, and hands on assists. In addition to the postures or the asanas, Chandni's hatha classes will offer lots of breathing exercises, meditation as well as little bits of yoga philosophy to help students tune into themselves and leave the class feeling relaxed and grounded.

 Janina is a fitness coach from Germany with a focus on strength and conditioning. She holds certifications in CrossFit Level 1, StrongFirst SFG Kettlebell Level 1, CrossFit Gymnastics and CrossFit Weightlifting and is an NSCA-Certified Personal Trainer. Coming from a non-athletic background with her career in a corporate setting, she discovered the benefits of lifting weights and healthy nutrition only later in life. Since then, Janina has been empowering her clients to find their own strengths to improve confidence, body composition and lifestyle balance at every stage of their lives. Her goal is to provide simple tools to make changes towards a healthier lifestyle accessible and fun for everyone.
